As part of our ongoing commitment to the continued training and development of our staff, 16 of our operatives and supervisors have completed an EUSR Electrofusion Course on Thursday and Friday this week.
They have learnt how to join plastic pipes by utilizing special fittings that contain built in electric heating elements to weld the joint together. This process involves electrical energy to create a strong, leak-proof bond between the pipes, which is essential when installing both potable and foul water pumping mains.
