It was a pleasure as always to support our home town of Uckfield in its Christmas celebrations in three ways:
1. Sponsoring a tree in the Festival of Trees at Holy Cross church, beautifully decorated by Honor and Jools.
2. Providing the Rotary Club’s Christmas tree in the centre of town for the 75th consecutive year.
3. Implementing the road closure and diversions that allowed the town centre to be pedestrianised for four hours for Late Night Shopping on Friday evening – shout out to Shaun, Andy and the team for their smooth operation to deliver this safely.
Congratulations to Ian Noble, Director of Uckfield Chamber of Commerce, for organising Late Night Shopping once again, and also to the businesses and people of Uckfield for making it another special evening!
