Thorne are delighted to have secured a 4-year framework agreement for Minor Civils with Southern Water and, as well as getting stuck in to scoping and design development on a number of small projects across the region, we are pleased to see works completed earlier this month on our first two projects.
Both schemes involved in-house design development focused on enhancing existing Southern Water assets and improving long-term operational resilience.
📍 Hailsham South – widening of the existing access road to accommodate larger vehicles following recent changes to the facility.
📍 Houghton Lane – access track upgrades to address deterioration caused by prolonged weather-related wear over time.
A great example of the benefits of delivering projects directly under a framework agreement, allowing us to respond to client requirements quickly and efficiently while minimising operational impact throughout delivery.
