We are delighted to have successfully completed our river wall remedial works project at Coolham for new client AvantiGas, and designed by HOP. The work involved:
• Installation of waling beams to the existing sheet piles wall, secured with ground anchors driven to a depth of up to 11m – some incredible fabrication and on-site welding work here by Workshop Manager, Andy Izzard.
• Extension of the line of sheet piles to the edge of the property, with new piles driven to a depth of 7.5m – thanks to Suttle Piling for their support – and these were similarly secured with waling beams and ground anchors.
• Filling of voids under the existing concrete slab with a geopolymer injection system, courtesy of subcontractor Geobear.
• Casting of bases for the installation of a new modular office / welfare building.
The £460,000 project was completed ahead of programme and on budget – great work by Guy, Danny and the whole team
