The £180k project to construct a replacement 2.4m wide reinforced concrete spillway to relieve the embankment impounding a privately owned fishing pond in Surrey is nearing completion. The project also involved the construction of a permanent berm along the downstream side of the existing 3m high dam, along with associated tree works and temporary road construction to provide access to the site.
