Design and construction works at the site of the existing Woodmansterne WTW to expand the capacity to treat 50Ml/day and included the following scope:
- New 60m x 30m x 6m deep RGF structure including chlorine contact tank, supporting a 9m high steel framed building
- Extension to treated water pumping station
- New standby generator building
- Site pipework modifications (150mm-900mm dia.) – approx. £1m
- Ducting to link new to existing treatment processes
- Foul and surface water drainage
- Diversion of services to facilitate new installations
- Hard and soft landscaping
