Restoration of Sheffield Park Gardens collapsed cascade between the Upper & Lower Woman’s Way Pond.

The scheme involved construction of a cofferdam to allow the repairs to the Cascade to be undertaken, de-silting of the Upper Woman’s Way Pond and installation of a by-pass overflow between the Upper and Lower ponds, as well as extensive landscaping to return the garden areas to their former beauty.

This project was awarded the prestigious Sussex Heritage “Landscape & Gardens” Award, as well as the Small Project Award in the ICE South East Brassey Awards, both in 2005.
