A 15-year term contract for coastal protection and structures maintenance. This involved the construction and maintenance of coastal structures such as timber and concrete groynes, sea walls, rock catch fences and shingle beds, as well as inland structures such as bridges, retaining walls and arches.
Techniques utilised include reinforced concrete, shotcrete, resin mortar, brickwork, re-pointing, core drilling, fencing, and joint sealing.
We also undertook extensive repairs to sea-front railings, as well as paving and access reconstruction work as part of this contract.
