All our employees and subcontractors undertake thorough induction training, which is reinforced through regular toolbox talks (training presentations on a specific topic) and site inspections.
Our dedication to safe working practices is recognised through numerous accreditations, including ISO 45001, CHAS Elite, SafeContractor and Achilles UVDB.

From apprentices, through to engineers with decades of experience, we believe that everyone has more to learn.
Health and safety is a core part of the induction programme for all new joiners and subcontractors.
Every employee completes the CSCS card certification. The majority going on to complete the NVQ level 2 certificate in Plant Operations, moving up to the blue CPCS card.
In addition, employees regularly attend specialist safety courses, including those related to The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
We have six, trained Mental Health First Aiders to support our team’s wellbeing, and everyone has access to a confidential Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) helpline.

ISO 45001
This international standard establishes that we are serious about employee safety. Our certification shows that we have a systematic approach to occupational health and safety, continually striving to minimise workplace risks and creating better, safer working conditions.
CHAS Elite
The most comprehensive construction industry standard, CHAS Elite members demonstrate Common Assessment Standard compliance across 13 risk management areas, in addition to meeting SSIP and PAS 91 standards.
SafeContractor
An independently assessed accreditation, SafeContractor approved status shows that we are a safe and responsible company, complying with all current health and safety legislation.
Achilles UVDB
This is a pre-qualification scheme for working with organisations in the utilities sector. Our accreditation, which is regularly checked through intensive, two-day audits, demonstrates that we adhere to the stringent health and safety regulations for this market.
