J.P. Hunter Surfacing was established in 2002 by Julian Philip Hunter, supplying tarmac paving equipment on an operated plant hire basis to businesses across the south east, including the Thorne Group.
In 2019, Julian made the decision to move on, and we purchased the business from him. This secured J. P. Hunter Surfacing’s position as a leading supplier to businesses and private individuals across the country.
Our close working relationship allows the Thorne Group to benefit from J. P. Hunter Surfacing’s decades of experience in tarmac paving machinery, enabling the Group to offer a one-stop shop solution to its clients.
