Breakout and reinstatement of concrete road bays and footways along West Way, Lancing.
Our work included:
- Set up traffic management and maintain access to properties.
- Breakout concrete slabs with 360 excavator and breaker.
- Haul breakout to compound location via road legal dumpers.
- Assess subbase of slabs and carry out CBR tests, replacing failed subbase where necessary.
- Install mesh reinforcement, dowel bars and expansion joints.
- Pour and finish concrete.
- Allow concrete to cure over 7 days before any foot or vehicular traffic passes over.
The pavement and road repair completed so far at the end of Westway is superb. The standard and quality is excellent.
