C J Thorne & Co, founded in 1939, is a third generation family firm of civil engineering contractors undertaking contracts of up to £10m throughout East & West Sussex, Kent and Surrey.
The group currently has three divisions:
Areas of expertise include reinforced concrete, surface water and foul sewerage, road and bridge construction, fabrication of steel framed buildings, environmental schemes such as coastal defence, riverbank stabilisation, as well as hard landscaping and surfacing.
We own and operate our fleet of plant and vehicles, and all staff hold CSCS cards.
Experienced Principal Contractors, we work mainly with the region’s water companies and local authorities and are fully compliant with CDM 2015.
